Facts About Enzyte

February 17th, 2010

Enzyte is a popular male enhancement supplement seen all over TV. You will never receive a tacky mailer that some have referred to as pornographic from this company. You will never receive a spam email. They spend all their money on a more expensive form of advertising that ultimate attracts more consumers, but also creates a higher price on the actual product to make up the difference.

This being said, the question is, what are the actual facts about Enzyte? Does Enzyte work? Well, first of all, the simple fact is that Enzyte does not work. Ultimately speaking, Enzyte does not have the formula necessary to actually provide real and lasting male enhancement results. This being said, it has a deceiving look. We all ultimately fall for the TV commercials that often denote an overpriced product that does not actually work. Multiple studies have shown that we will buy overpriced products oftentimes that are not as good as other products because we see them on infomercials. A classic example apparently is the Snuggie. So does Enzyte work? Not really judging by all of these facts.

But this being said, there are also multiple side effects with Enzyte. Yes, some of them are related to the caffeine, which is a necessary element. It lends greater stamina as well as the fact that it naturally increases blood flow, giving you the mechanism of action needed to actually produce results. This being said, ultimately speaking, it has yohimbine, which has been responsible for heart attacks and strokes. So does Enzyte work? well that’s in a way irrelevant considering the fact that frankly speaking the side effects are so serious.

This being said, I would personally recommend a product called Orexis. Orexis is a natural male enhancement supplement predicated on the right ingredients in the right amounts, and ultimately speaking, it will help you. They claim that Orexis has various benefits, and ultimately speaking, it does. It has everything you would ultimately need, and I would recommend checking it out.

Nutrition & Dieting

September 23rd, 2009

Nutrition is probably the most important aspect to a successful diet, and making the right choices can make all the difference.  Once you make the decision that this is the diet that is going to stick, the one that’s going to work; you need to know what foods to eat.  As someone who has had a successful diet, I would like to offer some of the food ideas that I ate to help me lose quite a lot of weight.

First, I began to eat lots of fruit.  Fruit is great for breakfast, as I would enjoy bananas, cantaloupe, and grapes.  Also applesauce proved to be a great snack for me.

For lunch, sandwiches were mostly what I ate.   Turkey was my meat of choice, as it was the healthiest.  I would have nonfat cheese, wheat bread, and mustard (no mayonnaise).  I would have crackers instead of potato chips, and maybe some nonfat yogurt.

Then for dinner I would have lots of chicken.  Always grilled, never fried of course.  I would also have turkey burgers, frozen healthy choice dinners, usually with a mixture of vegetables.  The healthy choice frozen entrees offered much variety, from pizza to tacos, just in smaller, healthier portions.  I hope this helps you make the right choices on any diet, as it did for me.

Cheat Days In Dieting

September 23rd, 2009

The mental aspect of losing weight can have your mind in absolute shambles.  Once you are fully committed to a diet, you feel guilty about pretty much everything you do.  As someone who has lost quite a bit of weight, I know how mentally challenging it can be.  Let’s say for example you are two weeks into a diet and you’re doing great.  Eating all the right things, doing tons of exercise, and you know that weight is just getting ready to fall off.  But then you cheat.

You eat a huge cheeseburger with a side of greasy fries.  Many people throw in the towel here.  They think it’s over, they think they’ve lost…well they haven’t.  One bad meal in no way ruins two weeks of hard work, but this is how people feel.  In fact, it’s probably a good thing.  Life should be enjoyed, not an everyday grind of unhappiness.  If you completely cut yourself off from the things you love, you are more likely to give up on the diet completely.  Give yourself these gifts as something to look forward to, as something to be excited about.  However do this to an extent, because if you give yourself these gifts too often, you will not lose weight at all.

Healthy Eating Habits

September 22nd, 2009

Losing weight is one of the hardest things in the world to do.  The changing of exercising habits is hard.  The changing of eating habits is even tougher.  But it really is the changing of an entire lifestyle.  Anytime you diet you will face many obstacles, but I believe that the social aspects are some of the hardest to overcome.  If a person was locked in a room for a year, I honestly believe they could lose as much weight as they wanted.  There is simply no temptation.  You don’t have to drive by McDonalds, Burger King, and Taco Bell.  You don’t have to go to birthday parties and get guilted into having one small slice of cake.

These social temptations are tough, but an even tougher one is dating;  especially when you are dating someone who has a far higher metabolism than you do yourself.  Anytime you go on a date, you are facing extreme temptation.  Sure most restaurants offer healthy options, but it can be tough.  When your 120 pound girlfriend orders a double bacon cheeseburger and french fries, you really don’t want to get the grilled salmon and steamed broccoli.  This is why these social situations are tough, because you know what you have to do, you just can’t.

Tennis For Exercise

September 22nd, 2009

When you look at today’s tennis stars, you will notice one thing, and that is that they are not as muscular as athletes tend to be in other sports. Football and basketball require lots of weightlifting and a strong muscular core to execute at a high potential. Tennis on the other hand is a highly cardiovascular activity where physical stamina is really the name of the game. A competitor who is more talented than another will lose on a consistent basis just because they are not in as good of shape.

All of the major tournaments(The US Open, The French Open, The Australian Open, and Wimbledon) are all best-of-five set finals in the men’s game now, which means matches that can approach the four and five hour mark. This is at the highest level; however tennis is still great exercise for the average player. It consists of quick running with lots of starting and stopping. It differs from long distance running or sprinting, because you are not thinking about running. This is because you are thinking about setting up your body to be able to hit the best shot possible. So in essence it’s more of a chess match than exercise. Also it’s a great way to lose weight!

Suppressing Appetite

September 5th, 2009

One of the most effective ways to suppress your appetite is to drink water. Whenever you begin to feel hungry drink a glass of water, wait 20 minutes or so and see if those hunger feelings have passed. If they haven’t I would suggest eating an apple. Apples are a great source of fiber and because it takes a while to chew through an apple, it tricks your body into thinking it is full. Before you eat a large meal, like lunch or dinner, try making a salad and eating that.

Who hasn’t gone to a nice, fancy restaurant only to be totally full before the entree arrives? We are so busy eating bread, appetizers, and salads that we are too full to eat the main dish. Eating a handful of nuts is another way to curb your appetite. In fact, nuts are a great source of protein and it doesn’t take much before you are actually feeling good again. Add flaxseed oil to foods because that also helps suppress the appetite.

Weight Loss Herbs

September 4th, 2009

What, exactly, is an herb? Herbs and spices have a long history as healing foods, one that dates back at least as far as the first century A.D. Much research on the medicinal properties of herbs remaines to be done. However, there is increasing scientific evidence to show that herbs are an amazing benefit to us humans.  Let’s take a look at one of the more popular herbs, basil. Basil has a sweet flavor that goes well with many dishes, especially Italian ones.

Basil contains monoterpenes, phytonutrients with disease-fighting antioxidant properties. Whenever I start to experience digestion problems, upset stomach, or cramps I’ll drink some basil tea.  Try steeping 2 teaspoons of dried basil in 1 cup of boiling water. Let it steep for 15 minutes and then strain it. To enjoy basil all year long, try blending fresh leaves with emough olive oil to make a smooth paste. Then freeze it in an ice cube tray and add it to pasta or soups.

The Benefits Of Soy

September 2nd, 2009

There is evidence that eating soy products reduces symptoms of menopause, like hot flashes and loss of bone minerals. Soybeans are the richest known source of the phytoestrogen compounds. When estrogen rises to levels that are considered dangerous in the body, phytoestrogens may supplant some of it in the body, helping to return it to safe, normal levels. Some of your soy options are as follows: Tofu, made from curdled soy milk, which may sound disgusting, but is actually not sour, it is more bland than you realize. Tofu has a very high nutritional value and it’s great used as a substitute for meat. I put tofu in my stir fry for a wonderful, tasty meal.

Firm tofu is highest in calcium so if you want to add more calcium to your diet, pick out a firmer tofu from the grocery store. Tempeh is made from fermented soybeans, which makes it carry a smoky flavor. Try adding it to casseroles or pasta sauces. Soy milk of course is a great substitute for regular milk and because it is high in calcium you can feel good about drinking it instead of regular milk.

Sleep & Weight Loss

August 31st, 2009

Most everyone loves to sleep.  Lack of sleep gets us cranky.  A good amount of sleep gives us a “glow.”  Getting enough sleep also helps you lose weight.  Surprising?

Apparently those who did not get enough sleep were found to lose a lot more weight than those who got adequate amounts.  When you’re tired from a lack of sleep, your body does not function the way it should.  You’re tired, you’re worn, out and your body is pushing itself to do things beyond its limit.  When you sleep more, your body is well rested and can perform well when you’re awake.  You have more energy to move around, which helps burn fat.  Your body functions normally, which naturally is always burning calories.

Sleep is helpful for weight loss, but it’s also important for your health.  Once you lose sleep, it’s hard to make it up.  It’s better to get a good amount of sleep each night instead of staying up late and crash sleeping for 15 hours a couple days later.  So get your sleep!
