Healthy Eating Habits
Losing weight is one of the hardest things in the world to do. The changing of exercising habits is hard. The changing of eating habits is even tougher. But it really is the changing of an entire lifestyle. Anytime you diet you will face many obstacles, but I believe that the social aspects are some of the hardest to overcome. If a person was locked in a room for a year, I honestly believe they could lose as much weight as they wanted. There is simply no temptation. You don’t have to drive by McDonalds, Burger King, and Taco Bell. You don’t have to go to birthday parties and get guilted into having one small slice of cake.
These social temptations are tough, but an even tougher one is dating; especially when you are dating someone who has a far higher metabolism than you do yourself. Anytime you go on a date, you are facing extreme temptation. Sure most restaurants offer healthy options, but it can be tough. When your 120 pound girlfriend orders a double bacon cheeseburger and french fries, you really don’t want to get the grilled salmon and steamed broccoli. This is why these social situations are tough, because you know what you have to do, you just can’t.
